summer kids camp
Trinity Summer Kids Camp for all kids from preschool through entering 6th grade will be June 24-27, 6:30-8:30 pm. Tell your neighbors and friends and consider volunteering to help with camp. turning point--summer explorers, is an educational daycamp that provides low cost, high quality, activities for at-risk kids. This summer July 9 through August 1 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons Summer Explorers will be housed at Trinity. If you like crafts, games, reading, sports, drama, or music or just like to hang out with kids, Turning Point has the perfect job for you. help with children's church school classes on Sunday mornings June 30-Sept 1. Give the teaching teams a much needed summer break and develop wonderful relationships with the children of Trinity. Consider signing up for 2 to 4 weeks or more. Contact Pastor Kay for more info or to sign-up.
sunday morning book study on prayer
Beginning Sunday June 9, at 11:00 am in Room 102 please join the pastor in a study of Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer by C. S. Lewis.
congregational forum
There will be a congregational forum on Sunday, June 23rd at 10:45 in the Fellowship Hall to discuss replacing our church pews with cushioned chairs.
munch bunch/munchers & movers
Wed. June 26 the munch bunch (adults available during the day) will enjoy a potluck in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30. All available during the daytime are invited. Bring a small dish and join us for fun and fellowship.
Annual 4th of July picnic for the munch bunch/munchers & movers at the Ellis cabin at Lake Cavanaugh. The children's 4th of July parade starts at 11 am. Lunch will be at 1:00 pm. Bring a side dish or dessert. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be furnished. Contact Janice Ellis for directions and to RSVP.
practical bible studies
The Wednesday morning and Monday evening Bible studies is studying the book of James. Join the Monday evening study at the Parkhursts' home at 7:00 pm or the Wednesday morning study at the church in Bethany at 10:00 am. men's fellowship
All men are invited to our men's fellowship dinner on Friday, June 21, beginning at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30. RSVP to Ron Hecht or Gordon McPherson.
shawl ministry
The shawl ministry group will meet on Saturday, June 22, at 10 am to knit and crochet shawls to be given away. If you have thought about this ministry, don't hesitate to come. There are willing teachers, patterns available, and help with obtaining yarn.
trinity-vineyard barbecue
Sunday July 7 at 5:00 pm Trinity and Vineyard Community Church will have a joint barbecue in the Fellowship Hall and the courtyard. Look for more info to follow.
hopelink--volunteer training and giving
In order to volunteer at Hopelink, you are required to attend a training session. Training lasts 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Training will take place at Hopelink 15809 Westminster Way (in the lower parking lot near Sears and Marshall's). Call to find the next date and time and to make a reservation to attend 425-869-6066.
The food bank needs plastic bags for distributing produce. For May & June we will be collecting soup, canned fruit, canned veetables, and baby food. Many thanks for your generosity. The Deacons continue their collection of "change for a change"--empty the change from your pockets into the container in the foyer. This is used to buy disposable diapers for Hopelink families.
2013 flower donations/chart
If you would like to donate for flowers for Sunday worship in 2013, please sign up on the chart in the Foyer. A donation of $20 buys the flowers for Sunday morning from our regular florist. After the service you may take the flowers home with you.
cookbooks
At Trinity's 100th birthday celebration a cookbook was compiled. There are some of these remaining. You can purchase one for $2.00 from the Deacons. They make great small gifts for friends and family. They are available in the Fellowship Hall.
