Sunday Worship at 9:30 am

Worship is the center of our life at Trinity.  We strive to make our worship experience meaningful and relevant to people of all ages, so that God is honored, and we are encouraged and inspired to follow Jesus Christ. Worship at Trinity includes both contemporary and traditional expressions in music, prayers and sermon messages because we know that different means of worship touch our hearts differently but all are pleasing to God.  Teaching from scripture is central in our worship.

Communion:  The first Sunday of each month we usually celebrate communion.  Communion in the Presbyterian Church is "open," meaning that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and sincerely desires to draw closer to him through the Lord's Supper is invited to partake.

Worship Music:  On some Sundays the service features contemporary music with a praise band. Some Sundays each month the music includes blended traditional and contemporary music.

If you feel God is speaking to you through some of the new worship songs we sing, you can pick up copies of the words and music on the table in the foyer. These are often a source for prayer and meditation through the week.

Sunday Schedule:
9:30 a.m. Sunday worship
childcare (infant-3yrs) in nursery on lower level

children's classes (4 yrs-6th grade) after dismissal to classrooms from worship
10:30 a.m.  Fellowship time in the Fellowship Hall downstairs (a lift is available)

What to wear:  People wear whatever feels comfortable. Some wear jeans and some "dress up".  The majority wear what might be called "casual".

Children in worship: Children from elementary age and up are encouraged to come to worship.  Partway through the service, elementary aged and younger children leave for Christian Education class.

On Sundays when communion is served, children and their teachers return to the sanctuary for the communion time. Parents make the decision as to when each child should begin receiving communion. If you have questions about this, Pastor Randy would be glad to discuss it with you.

Childcare:  Young children and infants are always welcome in worship, however, we provide childcare for infants and pre-schoolers for those who prefer that setting for their young children.  There are worship bags for young children that contain crayons and activity pages pertinent to the day for their use during worship time.  These may be picked up from the "tree" in the foyer.  After the service children can keep their papers and return the worship bag and crayons to the 'tree".

Special Services:  In addition to regular Sunday morning worship, we have special services for Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent ), Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
