Presbyterian Mission Causes
National PC USA  We support the work of Presbyterian missionaries around the world through the national missions of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A.  Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is active when disaster strikes. Currently there are many continuing projects in the south supporting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.One Great Hour of Sharing: What is it? Link here for more information on PCUSA missions.

Presbytery of Seattle

Synod of Alaska/Northwest
  The Synod helps the Presbyterian churches of the northwest to work together in support of mission. Link here to learn about Mission Development of the Synod.

Mission Development Certificates  Grow your own personal finances and help build churches across the northwest and Alaska at the same time. A MEDRIX safe water system in a village kindergarten

MEDRIX
MEDRIX serves the people of Southeast Asia, primarily Vietnam, through Medical Education, Development of Resources, and International Exchange. Through providing education for doctors and nurses, health is improved. Through renovating clinics, establishing safe wells for water, and latrines, clinics are enabled to provide safe care to the local people. Through its safe water work, MEDRIX is enabling people to prevent disease that is spread through unsafe water sources. MEDRIX
 
Wycliffe Bible Translators: Steve and Diane Parkhurst
Steve and Diane are in Spain translating the Bible into Spanish sign language for the deaf. They are developing video graphics to present signed Bible passages via a computer program or that can be shown as a video. Wycliffe

Summer Bible Camps: Ukraine
This mission focuses on five small villages southwest of Kiev. Children are invited to a Bible Day Camp where they receive Bible teaching, nourishing food, and clothing. You can help by donating new or clean gently used children's clothing, fabric for making clothes, small toys

Alongside Ministries
These missionaries are working with churches in Scotland to establish youth ministry in that country.

Hopelink
This organization provides a wide variety of services to people in north and east King County. The Shoreline Hopelink Food Bank is just a few blocks from Trinity. In addition to food donations and cash, Trinity provides regular helpers at the Food Bank. Hopelink


Church of Mary Magdalene
This ministry to homeless women provides many support services and caring outreach to help women both where they are and as they try to transition out of homelessness.

Jacob's Well
This ministry to homeless women and children in Shoreline is building a residential site that will also provide many support services to help women both where they are and as they try to transition out of homelessness.
