Children are always welcome in worship. We provide childcare for infants and pre-schoolers for those who prefer that setting for their children. There are worship bags for young children that contain crayons and activity pages pertinent to the day for their use during worship time. These may be picked up from the "tree" in the foyer. After the service children can keep their papers and return the worship bag and crayons to the 'tree".
During the service there is a children's message related to the scripture or topic of the day. At this time, children are encouraged to go the front of the sanctuary where they can see and hear. After the children's message, children may leave for "Children's Church" where they have learning activities during the sermon time.
On Sundays when communion is served, children and their teachers return to the sanctuary for the communion time. Parents make the decision as to when each child should begin receiving communion. If you have questions about this, Pastor Randy or Pastor Kay would be glad to discuss it with you.
