Children are always welcome in worship. We provide childcare for
infants and pre-schoolers for those who prefer that setting for their
children.
Worship bags are available in the narthex for children pre-K
through 4th grade. Each bag contains a child's bulletin, crayons,
paper, and stickers. These bags encourage children to be engaged in
worship by providing helpful teaching aides appropriate to them. You
will find the bags hanging on a child size coat tree before you enter
the sanctuary.
During the service there is a children's message related to the
scripture or topic of the day. At this time, children are encouraged to
go the front of the sanctuary where they can see and hear. After the
children's message, children may leave for "Children's Church" where
they have learning activities during the sermon time.
On Sundays when communion is served, children and their teachers
return to the sanctuary for the communion time. Parents make the
decision as to when each child should begin receiving communion. If you
