Decision, Decisions: The Art of Discerning God's Ways and Will

Do you want to have a better sense of how God is active and speaking in your everyday life?  Do you want to grow in spiritual confidence?  Do you want to make decisions that are in sync with God and who God made you to be?

We are always making decisions:  If you are thinking about taking a new job, going to school, getting married, retiring, or selling the home you've lived in for forty years, this class may be for you.  Join us for a four-week series on developing our ability to discern God's ways and will for our life and our world.

Sunday mornings, Bethany, 11:00 AM, January 14 - February 11 (except Jan. 28)

Women's Prayer Morning

You are invited and encouraged to join us Saturday morning, January 20, from 9:00 AM-Noon, in Bethany, for a time of prayer and fellowship.  We'll start with a light breakfast before transitioning into a time of individual (guided) prayer, wrapping up with a prayer walk through the church.  A great way to start the new year!

Please RSVP to Kris Coggin.  See you there!

Faith & Film Night

Join us on Saturday, January 20, at 6:00 PM in Bethany for Faith & Film Night, where we'll watch a film and then discuss its artistic and spiritual value.

In January, we'll be watching "Silence," starring Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver, directed by Martin Scorsese.  From IMDB:  "In the 17th century, two Portuguese  Jesuit priests travel to Japan in an attempt to locate their mentor, who is rumored to have committed apostasy, and to propagate Catholicism."  (Rated R for some disturbing violent content.)

New Members Cornerstone Class

If you are ready for the next step in your relationship with God at Trinity, we will be holding a new members class on Sunday evenings, January 21 & 28.  On both Sundays we will meet for dinner at 5:30 and conclude by 8:30.  We hope to see you there!

Congregational Meeting

Trinity will have our annual congregational meeting after worship on Sunday, January 28, in the Fellowship Hall.

Dinner to Support Haiti Mission Trip

The Deacons are preparing a dinner for Saturday, February 3, at 6:00 PM, composed of baked potato bar, salad, and dessert, as a fundraiser for the Haiti Mission Trip.  Come, enjoy the food, and gain information about the Haiti Mission project.  A suggested donation of $10 per meal, but any amount is accepted.  All funds over the cost of the food go to support trip expenses.

What's Next for Trinity?

We have entered into an agreement with Renewal Ministries Northwest to begin a period of discernment about Trinity's identity and future.  You are invited to join us for the first phase of this process on Saturday, February 10, from 9-2 in Bethany.  Renewal Ministries Northwest will lead us in a guided prayer retreat for the day, and a time of teaching on how we as a church can listen to God together.
