trinity children's ministry

Our Children's Ministry Team is committed to fulfilling the whole church's pledge to nurture our children in God's love and the good news of Jesus' life and resurrection so that they may come to a personal commitment to follow Him.

Our focus is to work in partnership with families at Trinity and are looking forward to what God is doing in our midst.

During the summer months, there is no church school.  There will be children's worship during the sermon time.

children's worship
Within the service there is a time for a children's message. Children come forward and a lesson designed for them that relates to the sermon scripture is presented. Then, children from 3rd grade and below are encouraged to attend Children's Worship. Here they learn to participate in worship in an accepting/teaching environment. They learn to pray, to sing, and be a part of a worshiping community. On Sundays when communion is served, the children return to the sanctuary to sit with their parents who decide whether their child is ready for communion.

Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM)
This year we are using the WoRM (Workshop Rotation Model) that teaches major Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops:  Art, Drama, Music, Games, A-V, Puppets, Storytelling, Computers, and any other educational media we choose to implement.
